Years ago, when someone mentioned to me that they were listening to Ryan Adams, I thought they said Brian, and simply gave a little nod. And even though my gesture felt sympathetic, in all probability it appeared condescending and dismissive. Now, after the NY-based Ryan managed to record an Oasis song that I can actually listen to more than once, I might actually find myself on the other end of such an awkward exchange sometime.
In any case, I thought I'd post a live set of music for this Sunday afternoon -- a whim, admittedly -- and found a recording of Ryan Adams & the Cardinals live at Murat Theater in Indianapolis (October 2, 2008).
