Sunday Live - Camper Van Beethoven turns 25!

Camper Van Beethoven Live at The Fillmore, 6.28.08 (from archive.org)

Camper Van Beethoven played their 25th anniversary show at The Fillmore in San Francisco on June 28th this year. For everyone who, like myself, didn't make it, I'm posting MP3's of the performance that evening. I've only had the pleasure of seeing Camper Van Beethoven once, in 1989 at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. They were the opening band, but unfortunately ended the set early, saying something like, "you just came here to see 10,000 Maniacs anyway." Well, this is an appropriately impressive set, and the band even performed "White Riot," a Clash cover that I've heard about from friends fortunate enough to catch an entire concert. So, here's the CVB silver anniversary show, and listening to it has perhaps made up for what I missed all those years ago. Prost!

[You can download the entire show as a 64Kbps MP3 ZIP or VBR MP3 ZIP file. Also, The Cat Heads opened, and you can find their performance here.]
